CNN, I'm the guy who asked for a recommendation for a 'stats-oriented' site. Actually, what I was looking for is that, plus a site that has professional analysis in the style of the analyses that are on hardballtimes and baseballthinkfactory. It is fun to read other fans' opinions, but I like to also read the opinions of those who study the game deeply.
football junkie sent me an IM recommending Footballoutsider, which I looked at yesterday. It is exactly what I was looking for. From there, I found references to a couple of other promising-looking sites:
