Tons of stuff happening around the team.
First: Another young player dies. Damien Nash, RB who played three games, and did fairly well last season collapsed at a charity basketball game. Victim of heart failure. He was born in 1982, just like Darrent Williams (who's murderer('s) are still at large by the way).
Then, three trades. CB Dre Bly, aquired to fill the spot that was Williams' last season in exchange for Tatum Bell and George Foster. Seems like a vote of confidance towards Mike Bell and/or whomever the team might want to draft/sign as a Free agent/pick off the street to start at RB next year.
As for Foster, he was kind of an oddity in the Broncos organization. A high draft pick and a very heavy player. He had been the starter at RT for much of the last three years.
Finally, the Broncos, to no ones surprise, traded Jake Plummer to Tampa Bay for a conditionnal draft pick, wich might be nothing if Plummer goes ahead and retire as he said he might. So I guess there won't be any QB controversy at this year's camp.
The team also traded for chronic underachiever Dan Wilkinson, who's most famous for being arrested for puching his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach, than for anything he did on the field since turning pro.
And that's all for now.
