#9 overall pick LB Ernie Sims agreed to a five-year contract with the Lions either late last night or very early today, and is expected to be at the Sunday morning practice. He had missed the first two days of training camp while hammering out the details of his first pro contract. He's expected to fill Derrick Brooks role in Rod Marinelli's defensive scheme, and is known for being an absolutely ferocious hitter.
