What do you think the Raiders will need to do to win in 2007? My plan for success:

1. Draft Brady Quinn

2. Trade Aaron Brooks, Rickey Brown and $$$ for Jamal Lewis

3. Draft Darius Walker

What do you think the Raiders need to do for success?

Lol, you forgot the true #1 thing they have to do for success: Have Al Davis step down. ;)

Seriously though, the more I think about it, the more I like Russell over Quinn. I have been a big Quinn supporter, but dang if Russell's size and skill together don't seem like a better overall package.

Raiders also need to pick up a couple O lineman that can actually make and sustain blocks, otherwise, it won't matter what QB we get, nor any RB that we pick up.

The Ravens would never take Brooks, Brown and $$$ for Lewis... they might let him go as a FA, though, and then the Raiders could pick him up.

Russell is more mobile than Quinn, and as a result, would be hurt less by the Raiders' lack of O-linemen. Maybe what the Raiders should do is trade down and pick up a decent O-lineman, maybe throw in Robert Gallery.

Darius Walker might be a good second-rounder.

Darius Walker might be a good second-rounder.

I see him drafted #1 in the second round by Oakland.

My new 5 point plan for sucess:

1. Draft either Brady Quinn or Jamarcus Russel - Can't decide which. Russel is great throwing long and can really run, but Quinn can really work the short passing game and hand off well, and is really a smarter QB.

2. As Snake said, better offensive linemen - Need some blockage up front.

3. Draft Darius Walker - a great second rounder, great speed and some good hands, could really help fill in if Lamont Jordan doesn't do well in the pre - season.

4. Aquire another good WR or good TE - Self explanitory, we already have one of the best defenses in the NFL.

5. Randy Moss - needs to live up to his potential.
