Grossman vs. Green Bay

Part of Rex Grossman's explanation this week for not playing up to par included something about this being a meaningless game, last of the year, only having to play a half or something like that.

What happened? It wasn't that long ago that any game involving Chicago-Green Bay-Detroit was going to be a dogfight, no matter what the records were. Nobody would miss these teams playing each other! And Grossman thought it was okay to mail it in?

Whatever happened to tradition?

Yea, that was a horrible thing to say, I dont like that one bit. Grossman should have been playing 100 percent on that night, oh well, at least Favre will get to go out in a blazing glory.
