So maybe Philadelphia beats Atlanta and the Cowboys don't win the division. Tough luck. This team's going to the playoffs anyway, so a win over Detroit, even if it is Detroit, will give the Cowboys some confidence heading into the wild-card playoff round against Seattle. Winning heals all wounds, and a solid performance against the Lions might quiet some of the locker room strife, perceived or real, surrounding the team. At this point, the Cowboys, losers in two home games the last three weeks, are looking to capture momentum wherever they can find it. But if the Cowboys win, and Atlanta beats the Eagles, the Cowboys will be at home next weekend for face one of those current 7-8 teams which will end up as the sixth seed.
