Mr Raco...I have to say, admirable job being the head fly (Lions Mod) for this forum. I say head fly cause what the Lions have indeed turned into, umm...a pile of.... As a pretty big football fan, I have to say I buzzed off around week 9. I don't know how you do it week in and week out. But I tip my cap to you sir.

My only hope is that the Fantasy leagues you have some of these bums in are treating you better then this home teams preformance in the NFL?

A tip 'o the hat, hey? Thank you very much. I figured people would be calling me crazy before they figured out I was insanely devoted. :p

For those that haven't figured it out yet, I'm an extremely die-hard Lions fan. Sure, I go off on anti-Lions rants nearly every week, but it's more of a tough love situation than anything. If any of you have been around Baseball Fever the past five years, you'll know that I do the same with the Tigers. Heck, I may even pledge to ditch them as my favorite team, but it never happens. Are you kidding me? I can't give up on this franchise after all they've put me (and everyone else) though. I'm betting that when they finally do win, it'll be glorious (like Blue from Old School).

There was hope that some psychos would join me on this terrible quest. But since this site is a new one, and we aren't getting the Lions fan base to come in here all that often, I can feel my keyboard giving off a loud echo every time I post. The Tigers forum was the exact same way not too long ago, and now it's booming nicely. Winning helps. As long as I continue to fight the fight, people will eventually show up and this will be one fantastic place to discuss Lions football. Until then, sit back and enjoy watching me go bald, lose my voice, smash keyboards and wireless mice, and root for the Detroit Lions.

Thank you, 527, and everyone else that has been reading my rants all season long. If I wasn't getting 10-15 views per week of my threads, I probably would have left awhile ago too. I do it for you guys, for the ghost of Barry Sanders, and the glory days of Wayne Fontes and Lomas Brown.
