Anyone know how many players currently play both Division 1-A football and basketball? I'm doing a paper on the topic. :) So far all I know is Matt Trannon of Michigan State. Anyone know any more?

I'm guessing there are not a whole lot.
Evan Moore (6'7", 235 lbs.) is a senior wide receiver at Stanford. He is also a forward on the basketball team and helped them win the Pac-10 title in 2003-2004.
Teyo Johnson (6'7", 240 lbs.) also played wide out and forward at Stanford. I'm not sure if he's graduated yet. I kind of think he has.
You also might want to check out: Mike Bush of Washington State, Charles Frederick of Washington, Gregg Guenther Jr., of USC and Peter Hansen of Arizona. They all played football and basketball in the Pac-10.

Sorry to bump this thread, but one more is Adarius Bowman of Oklahoma State. (6'4", 220 lbs.)

Cool. I already handed in my paper, but I'm mentally keeping a list.
BTW, Matt Trannon of Michigan State dropped off the basketball team, showing just how hard it can be.

Jeff Samardjia of Notre Dame plays both football and baseball. He possibly could have gone in the first round of this year's NFL draft, but decided to leave football behind and signed a big contract to play for the Chicago Cubs instead. He is a pitcher in baseball and a wide reciever in football.
Edit: Whoops I just noticed you asked about basketball specifically. Boy is my face red. Nevermind :p
