View Full Version : I actually thought the Cardinals would be a contender this year...

With that great offense, I thought Arizona would have a winning record this season.

I thought they'd do something too. They had a strong offseason and picked some good players in the draft (including my cousin), I really thought they'd win the NFC West.

I thought they would give us a run, but I didn't honestly see them beating us. I thought a wild card was a possibility, but their O-line and defense couldn't operate.

Their O-line is massive, but they play like pipsqueaks. Don't forget about the infeffectiveness of Edge.

I picked them to lose the Super Bowl. Don't need any reminding.

I did not pick them to go that far... but I did think they would make the playoffs..

I think in 2 years they will be there... if they can get better protection for the QB..

2006 was upsetting.... but 2007 should be the year.. (can ya tell I am a Chicago Cubs fan?)

The Cards making the playoffs all depends on the offensive line. It also depends on who's the coach, Denny Green may have one more year to right this ship.

I agree the potential is there for them to do well in 2007. I don't think the NFC West is going to be a pushover division for the Seahawks much longer. Cardinals and 49ers are both improving. Maybe only the Rams are heading in the wrong direction.

I'm hearing from reliable sources that Green is gone after this year. Edge was supposed to be the final piece of the puzzle and he sure isn't and ownership is very unhappy!

But just to start a rumor totally unfounded in reality, Bill Parcells is in his last year of his contract with the Cowboys. We know he's had significant differences of opinion with team owner Jerry Jones about personnel: Terrell Owens, Mike Vanderjagt.

If the Cards were to offer the Tuna the GM and Head Coaching positions, I think it'd be awfully hard for him to turn it down.

I'll have to ask my cousin how team chemistry has been on the Cardinals. It's definetly been a tough year for the team, this was supposed to be the "Year". I know Parcells has had problems with the problem children, but I think T.O. will leave before the Tuna.
