Easy question: Whom would you rather watch play against Ohio State for the National Championship, the Florida Gators or the Michigan Wolverines? Keep in mind that I didn't word the question as "Who do you think deserves" to play the game. It's just an opinion of what game you'd rather watch.

Florida. I've already seen Michigan play OSU. And I want to see how OSU's defense responds to Tim Tebow.

Same. I already watched OSU-Michigan once. I would rather watch OSU-Florida.

I voted Michigan because I think Michigan would beat Florida in a head-to-head matchup and I believe in the best team vs. the second best team.
Michigan may well be the better team. Heck, they went into the Horseshoe and lost by three, so they very well could beat OSU on a neutral field.
But they lost the game that mattered the most during the regular season. That should, and seemingly has, disqualified them from playing for the National title.

Hehe, all this postulating will mean nothing if the Gators beat OSU :)

I think the voters' biggest fear was that Michigan would beat Ohio State. How can a team that doesn't win it's conference still win the National Title? It's not like OSU would have been heavy favorites to beat Michigan a second time. If they could only win by a field goal at home in front of 100K Buckeye fans, it would be an even tighter game on a neutral field (at least IMO).
On a side note, I loved the non-direct stabs that Florida's Urban Meyer and U-of-M's Lloyd Carr threw at each other. Florida lobbied hard to get into the BCS title game, while Carr was mostly silent. Carr did say Florida wasn't a very good team, but only after Meyer said Michigan doesn't deserve to be #2 without a conference title. Funny stuff.

I want to see Florida play Ohio State, lets see James Laurinaitis and friends try to stop the offense of the Gators.

Two explosive offenses or two explosive defenses. That is what this poll comes down to.

Exactly my point from earlier. If they did play and Michigan won, and Florida won their bowl game; then who is National Champions? At least now, If Florida wins, they have the edge over Michigan, as Michigan lost to OSU. And if OSU wins, it's a no brainer. This way, there will be a clear cut National Champ, whoever wins the game.

You know he was born in Washington D.C. and lived in South Carolina.
Colbert sometimes comedically refers to his surname as French, but his family is actually of Irish decent. Originally, the name was pronounced "Col-bert", but Colbert's father had always wanted to pronounce the name "Col-bear", remaining "Col-bert" only out of respect for his own father. As a result, James Colbert offered his children the option to pronouce the name whichever way they preferred. Colbert started using "Col-bear" when he transferred to Northwestern University, taking advantage of the opportunity to reinvent himself in a new place where no one knew him.
