I familiar with all of them, but I'll have to look at their stats to see who deserves the coveted trophy.

To me, it was a no brainer. Troy Smith all the way. I don't even like OSU, but no denying that they are the best team in the land and a big reason they are is because of Mr Smith's head, arm and legs. It really hurt me to go against my man Brady Quinn, but had to put the personal feelings aside.

To me, it's a tossup between McFadden, Smith, and Quinn. Quinn has the stats, but McFadden and Smith were the main reasons their teams did so well.

It's obvious that Troy Smith will win, but I voted for Mike Hart.

Cool. It is good to see a media member here. Do you have a Pro Football Hall of Fame vote, by chance?

Oh, never mind. Didn't see the poll! (If you read what Canseco wrote and you didn't see the poll, you would think he was a media member.)

Wow, all from tiny Clio. That's impressive. I knew a couple people from Clio while at college.
So, outside of being from Michigan, any reason why you picked Hart?
Who did you pick, Ladder?

It's official, he won by the second-largest margin ever (next to The Juice back in '68). I hope he can keep doing what he's doing while playing for the Lions next year. :D

I didn't pick Mike Hart because I'm from Michigan. In fact, my favorite team is Michigan State. I picked Hart because he does so much for the team. OSU's back up quarterback could still lead them to a National Championship, but UM is nothing without Hart except defense. And defense won't help you win unless you can score. I believe that Michigan's offense would be almost nothing without Mike Hart.

OSU's back-up QB just happens to be a blue chipper but Smith has great leaderhip skills. When looking back on 2004, Smith was clearly a better quarterback than Zwick. The fact is Zwick could not win with this team

Arkansas runs on Darren McFadden. That's why he got my vote.

If the hogs would have won the last 2 games of the season, many more would have voted for him as well...

But.... all I can say...

Is he coming back next year or is he bolting/graduating?

He beat out a guy who many felt should have won even if he came up well short of first place, that should put him on the top of the list for next year.

Heck if he stays after next year he could be a 2x winner...

I agree, he's got a leg up on the rest of the country when it comes to next season's Heisman hopefuls. I'm not sure about the 2x thing, though. I think the Heisman voters are less apt to give it to someone twice nowadays. Didn't Leinart have an even better season the year after he won the Heisman, only to lose the award to Reggie Bush? Of course, Bush had a phenomenal season, but still....

Looking ahead to 2007, there are guys in addition to McFadden who made their Heisman auditions. Ian Johnson from Boise State, Colt Brennan from Hawaii, PJ Hill from Wisconsin, and a few others.

A Spartan, eh? Nothing wrong with that. I've had good times on and around that campus.
Thanks for replying.
