Wow his stats are eye popping!!!!!
He is on pace to get: 1657 rushing yards, 28 rushing touchdowns (shawn alexanders record goes down the toilet lol), and 4.9 tards per carry. Wow, thats pretty amazing to me. I have three letters for him M.V.P.!!!! Amazing... he is one hell of a back.

Heh, not to mention, that he is now the fastest ever to 100 rushing TDs. He beat the previous record shared by the Immortal Jim Brown and All Time Rushing Champ (and a hell of a dancer) Emitt Smith. Gotta believe that barring serious injury, LT will leave his name on the top of that list too.

That guy is pretty good. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea afterall for the Chargers to trade down five spots in the 2001 draft and pass on the highly over-rated Michael Vick to select Tomlinson and Brees.
That might have to go down as one of the most effective trade maneuvers in NFL history, selected before Tomlinson in 2001: Vick, Leonard Davis, Gerard Warren and Justin Smith.
I bet the Falcons, Cardinals, Browns or Bengals would give their eyeteeth to have landed LaDainian.
Most of what I remember about that trade when it was made was all the pundits saying that Vick was going to win multiple MVPs and Superbowls and was a "once in a generation" player and it was sheer folly for the Chargers to pass on a chance to draft him. That sounds kind of dumb now, doesn't it?

What's dumb is that they still continue to tout Vick as a once in a lifetime player, despite the fact that he's achieved very little despite the immense hype.

He's also broke Paul Hornung's single season point record, on top of that he's also got the TD record and broke John Riggins mark of 7 consecutive multi TD games.

If he keeps things up, we may need to redo the greatest RB ever poll!
