If Favre comes back again next year he can pass 70,000 yards and 500 TDs.

Any chance he comes back with a Minnesota super-bowl win?
loss? loss in the NFC championship?

And how long might Manning play?

John Elway had his highest rated season in his last year at age 38 and Manning is not a mobility based quarterback so he really doesn't have much to lose with age. 5 more years should get him 70,000 and 500.

Two full moons in one month? Steak cooked the way he likes it?

I would not be surprised if Manning stays on for another 7-8 years. He probably will set all the records.

Welcome, Brett.

I think Favre might actually be done this time. He got pushed around pretty good last night.

Pushed around? He got pummeled, beat up, smashed. If any one game would make a 40 year old want to quit, that would be it. I suspect that his pummelling will have a big part of his decision whether or not to come back. The Vikes will certainly want him, but Brett needs to think about his future life after football, and he just got sent a message.

So this will be, what, year 5 of the will- he or won't he offseason? Year 6?

Favre the competitor knows he can still produce big numbers and takes the blame for that last interception. I would be surprised if he accepts going out as he did last night. I think he stays in Minnesota.
