Was talking to a friend about the difference between Canadian and American football rules, and came across this link (http://www.mmbolding.com/BSR/Candian_Football_League_vs_National_Football_Leagu e.htm) about the history of exhibitions between the two leagues.

This was the first i had heard of this. Does anyone have any first hand history of the games - where they covered anywhere in the print media, receive any type of advance coverages, etc?

That's really cool. I never knew that CFL teams played against NFL/AFL teams so long ago.

Can't say I'm shocked the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL) hammered the Buffalo Bills -- 38 to 21.

Well I guess it is true that game was played before the Bills got the late, great Jack Kemp. So, it's not as bad as it looks. But to be the ONLY NFL franchise to have ever lost to a CFL team still kind of irks me.

It would be highly ironic if that same franchise ended up eventually playing in Canada.
