I was wondering if there is any way to know where the current Seahawks Stadium stands as opposed to how the Kingdome stood. Mainly, how much an overlap of the footprints between the two stadium is there, and how the football field itself is oriented at each respective stadium.

Qwest Field (Seahawks Stadium when it first opened in 2002) stands on almost the exact same spot where the Kingdome stood. That's why the Seahawks had to play home games during the 2000 and 2001 seasons at Husky Stadium (where the University of Washington plays) while their new stadium was being built. The Kingdome was demolished in March of 2000:

Like Qwest Field today, the football field in the Kingdome was oriented north-south. Not that it mattered in terms of sunlight or weather, etc. inside that dome.
