Daryl Turner's (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Daryl_Turner.shtml) nickname was "Deep Heat."

Brian Bosworth's (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Brian_Bosworth.shtml) nickname was "The Boz."

Deion Sanders (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Deion_Sanders.shtml) also went by "Neon Deion." (I see you already have Prime Time up there.)

Some people call Leonard Weaver (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Leonard_Weaver.shtml) "The Church Van."

Darrell Jackson's (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Darrell_Jackson.shtml) nickname was/is: "D-Jack."

Cortez Kennedy (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Cortez_Kennedy.shtml) was often called just plain "'Tez."

Dan Doornink (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Dan_Doornink.shtml) was called "Dr. Dan" because he was going to medical school while he was in the league. (He's a physician now.)

Sometimes people refer to Maurice Morris (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Maurice_Morris.shtml) as "Mo Mo."

Chris Berman used to call Ricky Watters "Running," as in Ricky "Running" Watters. But I don't know if you want to include Chris Berman's silly nicknames. On the other hand, this one kind of makes sense, and I think it caught on with a broader audience than most of Berman's. That's just my personal perception though.

Even though he never played a down in the league, should Ernie davis have an entry on Football Almanac? If so, his nickname was "The Elmira Express."

Rick Tuten's (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Rick_Tuten.shtml) nickname was "Bootin'," as in Rick "Bootin'" Tuten.

Sometimes people call T.J. Houshmandzadeh (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/TJ_Houshmandzadeh.shtml) just plain "Housh."

Wait till you see this ad for Fantasy Football, it's hilarious!

Thank you, had that one on file already (didn't list it above though, sorry).

Keep on checking over on Football Almanac (http://www.football-almanac.com) this season for me and send over anything I am missing. I will be doing live stats this year so data will all be updated within a day of the games being completed!

Though they do make me laugh, I do not include those on the player's page because they are not "really" nicknames, but rather more like a script written with a nickname in it. If a team / player did begin using the nickname I would use it, but since he has a play on words for every player he talks about I tend to avoid them.

I'm actually in the process of building out pages for players who never made the NFL. This way every player ever drafted will have a page. Players drafted and on practice squads will have a page. Basically every player even associated with an NFL team will soon have a page. The site already has about 3,000 of them in the system as I've been adding their data regularly, its just figuring out the finer details.

Example: Player Xxxx Xxxx goes to college Xxxx, gets drafted, goes to a team, and gets put on the practice squad. Does he get included on the college page (I think so), but not really as a player from that school if he never played. So he should be included, but not really counted in the main set. Same for the team roster. I'll need code on that script to handle these type players. It will be a lifelong research project figuring them all out and I'll enjoy the work...

PS: I added every nickname you sent this morning (and linked your player names to their player pages over on Football Almanac (http://www.football-almanac.com/)).

Ok, cool. Happy to help. It is fun to contribute, in some small way. If I think of anything else I'll pass it along.

I came up with quite a few you didn't list, but I zipped through their pages, and sure enough you had them. (I was certainly hoping you didn't leave out Red Grange "The Galloping Ghost" or Walter Payton "Sweetness"!)

A few that I did notice are missing:

Chuck Bednarik - "Concrete Charlie"
Michael Irvin - "The Playmaker"
Adam Jones - "Pacman"

Hopes this helps!

P.S. Thanks for your help getting on the board.
