Derek Anderson took major steps backward in the 2008 season, finishing with a 50.2 completion percentage, 5.71 yards per attempt and an anemic quarterback rating of 66.5. Then he got injured.

Quinn did not fair much better, finishing with a 50.6 completion percentage, 5.82 yards per attempt and a QB rating of 66.6. Then he got injured.

Should the Browns bet their future on Quinn, the former Notre Dame star, or on Anderson, the one-year wonder?

Kellen Winslow Jr. is now in Tampa Bay. Braylon Edwards may soon be playing for the NY Giants and Jamal Lewis has over the hill written all over him.

Who should be the starting QB in Cleveland in 2009?

Well here is a story that just won't die! Brady Quinn has played something like 10 quarters of football and has already had the rug pulled under his franchise QB feet.

Derek Anderson tossed three picks last week in the second half, granted he was down three touchdowns.

I don't think Eric Mangini could have handled this situation any worse if he had planned things to turn out this way. No wonder the Jets fired him!

Apparently if Quinn plays under 70 percent of the Browns offensive snaps he loses out on over 11 million USD.

Without catastrophic injuries occuring to every other Browns QB, Quinn goes under that percentage this Sunday. And isn't that what the Browns are really all about? Being cheap.

Seriously, now that Winslow and Edwards are both gone, who is going to stretch the field vertically? And if the answer is no one, why is cannon-armed Anderson the starting QB?

The Browns had a franchise QB in Quinn and have ruined him. :applaud: Nice job at continuing to fail.

Maybe Seneca Wallace will start for the Browns in 2010!
