Daniel Snyder is up to it again. He's the George Steinbrenner of the NFL -- and that's not a bad thing. This year's spree so far has included a seven-year deal worth $100 million with nose tackle Albert Haynesworth, considered the best defensive player in this year's free agent class.

CB DeAngelo Hall was re-signed for an additional $54 million over over six years. And not ignoring the offense, guard Derrick Dockery has been signed to a five-year, $26 million deal.

The Redskins have upgraded the offensive and defensive line. And secured the keystone their secondary is built around.

We'll probably see more moves before the "dealin' is done." The Redskins have spent $180,000,000 on three players this off season. Is it enough? Is it too much? Are they the team to beat in the NFC East? Or was this just another shopping spree that will lead to nothing?

I think it's another shopping spree that will lead to nothing. All of his moves have been impulse moves, shopping for the big name instead of getting guys who just flat out get the job done. I can't stand DeAngelo Hall and he isn't worth the contract he received. Haynesworth is one of the best DTs in the game, but he isn't worth $100 million. One thing I can say about this shopping spree is that he got young guys instead of end of their peak/past prime players/overrated players Snyder usually gets. Signing Derrick Dockery doesn't help much when you lose your RT Jon Jansen, LT Chris Samuels and LG Randy Thomas for like forever. . . how was Campbell ever to succeed in Washington?

The Saunders to Zorn to Lewis debacle just makes it worse.
