Edge James wants out of Arizona. He's disappointed that his touches are down that he is being used far too often as a lead blocker for Tim Hightower.

Bringing this all to light a couple days before your team plays its first game in January in over a decade doesn't seem like the brightest of moves.

The Edge could have voiced his concerns after the season, simply let the Cards cut him and try to land a gig via free agency. Now all his :blah: might seriously hinder than plan.

Personally I think this will be the last we'll be seeing of James in the NFL. It is too bad an excellent, near great, career has to end like this.

The Edge is back in Arizona, for now. He rushed for 73 yards, 4.6 yards per carry in the Cardinals win over Atlanta.

The Cardinals lone rushing touchdown, however, went to Tim Hightower, -- for some reason I can't exactly imagine. (Do the Cardinals really think Hightower is ever going to approach James' level of play or even be a reliable starter?)

The Cards seem to be trying to push James out the door in an attempt to go younger. This reminds me of the same brilliance that Dallas displayed about five years ago when they pushed Emmitt Smith out the door for the GREAT Troy Hambrick. Didn't that turn out well for everyone?

Congrats to the Arizona Cardinals for their third playoff win in franchise history.

Followed by their fourth and fifth playoff win...on to the Super Bowl for the unlikeliest of teams in the NFC!
