The Raiders defense showed up for a game, and the Raiders proved at least that they can beat another of the lower tiered teams in the NFL. No disrespect intended to Steelers fans, but what else are you when you are 2-5? I am wondering if we can call this a streak since the Raiders have managed to put together 2 wins in a row? Still a tough road to go, but at least close to .500 is now possible if they can go 6-3 to finish out the season. Heh, now that I see that written down, it does look quite improbable, but there is always hope. At least some guys on the team are playing like they have a little pride now.

The defense looked great....the offense was horrific. Less than 100 yards total offense, and around 17 yds passing......yikes. That's got to be some kind of record. Unless the offensive line improves, and Randy Moss decides to stop short arming passes thrown to him, there's no way they will go 6-3. But stranger things have happened.

Nope. But don't give up all hope. Your defense did hold the defending NFC Champions to only 16 points.
Plus you collect another loss while the Bills and Dolphins both got burnt by actually winning their games.
Brady Quinn is getting closer and closer to a center near you.

I noticed the Raiders were using the shotgun formation. I never thought I'd see that happen.
Shutout twice in 1 year on MNF......I never thought I'd see that happen.

OMG, they are never gonna let us on MNF again, lol. Getting shutout twice on MNF is just crazy. Sigh, remember a time when we were Kings of Monday Night? Now we are the jesters.

At one point the Raiders were something like 20-2 on MNF. They could very easily be 2-10 over the last 10 years.

Lol, I remember when I was younger counting a MNF game on the schedule as an automatic win. Now I get scared when they are playing on MNF :eek:
