I think some member's avatars are way too big. Is there a way to fix this?

Do these avatars take up a lot of server space and or bandwidth? Perhaps we should just agree to get rid of them all together. I'm for it if it saves the site money.
I don't know how Spaceman Spiff is going to feel though. Probably something like this.
