The numbers look good, but they don't translate into wins. I haven't seen these guys play much, what's the problem?

No defense, and it just got worse (if that's even possible). Our best defensive player, Shaun Rogers, was suspended for the next four games, not including the bye week. If our offense can't score 45+ points per game, they'll lose, guaranteed. What's funny is that the GM, Matt Millen, has drafted four offensive players in his last five drafts, and only one of them (Roy Williams) is still playing. Mike Williams is still on the roster, but he's in the back of the doghouse. Had those draft picks been at least HALF defensive players, this could have been a pretty good team. There's just no playmakers out there defending the end zone.

Mike Furrey (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6612).

Consider this award my official apology to Mr. Furrey, who I blasted in the pre-season for even being considered as an option to replace Charles Rogers. Now it's: Charles Who? Furrey gave us not only a solid year, but a Pro-Bowl calibur year (although no Lions were selected). He was second in the NFL in receptions, fourteenth in yardage, and pulled in six touchdowns, all as the second receiver. Guys like this having seasons like this prove that Mike Martz is an offensive genius, and not just odor-wise. Let's all hope Matt Millen, in his infinite wisdom, can re-sign Furrey to an extension to see if he can do it again.

Feel free to add your MVP opinions and choices, and to bash mine. :D
