He looked REAL good today in the small portion of the game I saw. Any thoughts from Raiders fans?

We're screwed.......
With their pathetic offensive line, it won't matter who QBs for this team.

True... but Walter did way better than Aaron Brooks today.

That's kind of like saying the Titanic was a better ship because it didn't sink as fast as the Andrea Doria........;)

I bet with the Eagles three deep at QB: McNabb, Jeff Garcia and A.J. Feeley that a trade could be greenlighted for Jeff Garcia.

I know Garcia didn't look too good last year in Detriot, but who would have? Garcia is a three time Pro-Bowl Selection. In his career he is just shy of 20,000 passing yards, owns a 85.8 QB Rating, a 60.9 CMP% and 126 TD to only 71 INT. He's also a mobile QB having rushed for 1,791 yards in his career and an astounding 24 rushing TD -- a 150 TD combined.

Garcia had his best years on the west coast when he was playing with a tall speedster at wide out: T.O. Randy Moss could fill that role nicely.

This would give you a mobile QB with a proven record of success and an above average arm. It also buys time for Andrew Walter to mature. With the depth the Eagles have at QB, I bet they'd take a 3rd round draft pick for Garcia.

That would be a definate improvement. Unfortunately, that whole deal would make too much sense for the Raiders to actually do it. They only like to do off the wall stuff that doesnt make a whole lot of sense. Then, if by some miracle, the off the wall stuff worked, Al Davis gets to be the "Mad Genius". A role he relishes. Sometimes it really sucks being a Raider fan :(

Okay don't want to pile on here but watching Andrew Walter has just been painful this season. Walter owns a 38.2 CMP% and a 29.2 QB Rating, after week four. In two starts he has one touchdown, four interceptions and 12 sacks.

The news doesn't get any better. Walter will start again this week against the Niners -- who aren't that good themselves. Aaron Brooks might be "healthy" for the game at Denver.

I guess my question is, whys isn't Marques Tuiasosopo starting? Walter has shown he can't get the job done. Brooks might be the dumbest quarterback in the history of the NFL. What harm could starting Tuiasosopo possibly do? Are the Raiders afraid they might actually win a game?

At least next year you'll have your pick of Brian Brohm, Brady Quinn, Chad Henne or Drew Stanton.

They haven't put in Marques Tuiasosopo because he is actually worse than Walter. I still can not believe we passed on Leinert this year when we had a chance at him. We are a bunch of morons. It doesn't matter if we do get one of those stud QBs, if we don't have anyone that can protect them. Until the O-Line improves, we will not do anything.

I hate to say, "I told you so" or "I knew it all along" but the Raiders are one loss away from a 2-14 record. It didn't have to be that way. If they had only listened to my advice back in September and pulled off a trade for Jeff Garcia and resolved their differences with Jerry Porter this team could be good.

The defense is fine. With Garcia at QB for 12 games throwing deep to Porter and Moss -- this team could have made the playoffs.

But fret not, all is not lost, I get the feeling that JaMarcus Russell, QB at LSU, is coming out early that he'll be in Raiders' black & silver in 2007. That is unless the Raiders fall for the Brady Quinn hype.
