Just some ideas:
Football Stats and Research - like sabermetrics. I do a lot of football research.
Football Stadia - could get into some great Horseshoe / Big house debates.

I would like to suggest a thread for the CFL and Arena Football.

Arena Football would be a great forum to make.

Great suggestions, thank you.
I added the Arena Football forum a second ago & the football stadia as well. I'd like to hold off a bit of on the research one though. Stats & research could fall into the history forum & current events forum. As they grow and the user base continues we'll then expand to handle that niche professional football researcher / enthusiast...

How about another suggestion: forums dedicated to each DI-A conference (excuse me "Football Bowl Subdivision (http://www.benmaller.com/archives/20...ma_behind.html)"), including the Independents.

Good suggestion tdk, but that sounds like an idea to wait on until we have a larger base. We still have several NFL Team forums that nobody has visited or posted in yet.

Yeah, I wasn't meaning for that to go into effect right away.

We will probably expand the college realm out quite a bit - in time. Still less than two weeks old so it is going to evolve over time and I'll do my best to make it always for the better...

Once the member base expands, I suggest a CFL forum.

How about a forum for playing football and football stratgeys. Much like Baseball 101, Coaching & Fundamentals on Baseball-Fever.

I like that idea RedSox. A Football 101 forum would be a great idea.

YES!!! PLEASE!!!
It's just that I'm trying out for football this year for the first time, and I'm going to want some advice.
BTW, RedSox, is that Harry "Now can I let the other guys run?" Agganis of BU in your avatar?

Yes it is indeed the multi talented Harry Agganis. Its a shame he died at the age of 26 and only 2 years into his baseball career.

Multi-talented is an understatement.

I'd like to suggest a forum about tv coverage, commentators, etc.
Football by far has the highest ratings of any sport and come to think about it, the highest ratings of anything on tv. TV coverage is what made the NFL king of sports and being able to read and post comments about all aspects of tv coverage would be interesting.

A forum for the NFL Draft might not be a bad idea.
