Since the Raiders and Packers are probably going to battle it out for worst team of the season. I think it might ease the pain a little if you used this thread to bash your own team, by comparing it to the other.
For example- The Raiders suck more than the Packers, because at least the Packers have won a Super Bowl in the last 20 years.
Now Packer fan needs to post a reason why the Raiders are better than the Packers.
Fans of other teams are welcome to contribute....be creative, have fun with it.......this could prove to be very therapeutic, for Packer and Raider fans everywhere :)

Jerry Porter will at least provide sideline entertainment during games.

If his teammates don't beat the crud out of him for cheering their futility first...

Al Davis heard putting out the new official Raiders quote: "Just Quinn Baby"
Lol, Raiders are officially in the Brady Quinn sweepstakes

Quinn may pull an Eric Lindros (hockey) or Eli Manning and refuse to accept a draft from the Raiders!!

They have a good QB even if he is at the end of his career. Favre alone will probably give them at least 6 points.

Even if the Raiders did end up with the first overall pick in the draft, which they won't, they'll never draft Brady Quinn. Al Davis hates betting the farm on young quarterbacks. That's why there's always a revolving door of veterans going in and out of Oakland -- that's not going to change.
If the Packers get the first overall pick I wouldn't be shocked to see them trade down to maybe the third of fourth overall pick and take the RB out of Oklahoma -- Peterson. That would give them a highly talented young QB and great young RB.
Frankly if I were the Packers I'd start exploring trade options for Brett Favre immediately. Send Farve to a team that's struggling at QB and try to recoup a first or second round pick in the 2007 draft for him. Then install Aaron Rodgers as the starter and get him some experience so he'll be ready to go for the next season.

Actually, Al Davis has drafted a QB in the first round before. Todd Marinovich out of USC was a can't miss guy coming out of college, till he let the wacky weed ruin his life. Heh, still remember him being called Todd Marijuanavich. Even the great Kenny Stabler was a 2nd round draft pick. Don't ever think that you know what Al Davis will do. This is a guy that picked up a Kicker in the first round when he felt that we were in dire need of one. If the Raiders were sitting in the 1 hole, unless they got a heck of of a trade offer, I believe Al would take a chance on Quinn. You are talking about a QB being mentored by an NFL Coach, playing in an NFL system in college. He will be about as ready to go as any 1st year QB has ever been.

Outside of USC who plays under a similar coach(got a raw deal here in New England!)and actually has produced two top quality QBs under his system, one of which went to the playoffs last year.
Davis may be a tinkerer but he isn't a fool to pass up a great thing that will improve his team very quicly.

That's a pretty safe bet, since the Raiders play the Ravens this week. After that they have a bye, so the Raiders may not score until October.

Very true....but I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a final score of 24-3
in favor of the Ravens.....:(

I'll be happy when -- if that happens. Even though I love both the Raiders and Packers (3rd and 4th), they are way behind the Ravens and Pats.
