THROW THE BALL AWAY!!!!
Honestly, I thought my Bills could pull off the upset. But no. JP Loser had to get sacked in the endzone. Wow. Pathetic.

They lost by two points but the safety didn't kill their chances. The fact that they didn't pin the Patriots deep in New England territory on the free kick nor did they capitalize on the New England interception after that killed their chances.
Frankly would you rather he give up two points or six points? The way the Patriots were swarming the line of scrimmage he didn't have a chance to get the ball away, it would have been intercepted without any chance of a Bill getting his hand on it.
Don't blame JP for the safety- blame the linemen who let the Patriots penetrate!!!!!!!!!!

While I agree that the Bills were sliding away, think about this. If you throw out of bounds, no one's gonna intercept.

It's a typical young QB mistake. Consider it an important lesson learned. For Losman and Jauron. It's still ugly to see, though.

Intentional grounding would be called, the Bills get penalized half the distance to the goal and lose the down.
Now they have to punt(I believe it was 3rd down when it happened). They risk a touch down again or they put the Patriots in their own territory with plenty of time to get themselves down to the end zone for a touch down.
So basically he had two choices: hold on hoping he could catch a break or lob it up into the air to get intercepted or get penalized. Tough choice but I think he made the right one.

I don't believe it was a mistake, I believe he knew what he was doing there.
The classic pick your poison moment, either way he was going to surrender points.
