Smith and Rod Woodson are first-ballot locks. Now that Monk is in, the more productive Cris Carter should get in. As for the rest, it's close between a handful, to me.

Easley and Kennedy both deserve it. If they had played for higher-profile teams they would already be in as first-balloters. In Seattle, good players typically don't get the kind of attention they deserve. For example, Shaun Alexander was the first Seahawk ever to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 2005. Even then they spelled his name wrong!!!

Easley's career was too short. With a full career he would have been a lock. As good as Ronnie Lott.
Kennedy is one among many great defensive line candidates.
