Dayne, Watts get cut

News has been tricking in about the final 53 for the season in Denver.

Darius Watts has been released, so as Ron Dayne and former veteran TE turned offensive lineman Dwayne Carswell.

Dayne has missed the last 3 exhibition games and was expected to be released with the trio of Bell-Bell-Cobbs having fared well in pre-season. Watts however, was considered by many as the guy who would fill in the third reciever spot. He was cut.

In addition to Dayne, Carswell and Watts, a couple other names are worth mentionning.

Former second string QB Bradlee Van Pelt, former Michigan standout receiver David Terrell, cornerback/ return man Roc Alexander and punter Micah Knorr have all gotten their walking papers.

Unless I'm not reading well, the Broncos appear to be heading into the season with just 2 QB's.
