Carson is back!

Carson is back! No doubt about it after tonight's performance -- 3 TD passes, 130 QB rating. He didn't make one mistake all night and played completely without fear.

AFC North is looking locked up already.

It is a pre-season game against a lack-luster Green Bay defense. Although I agree Palmer looked sharp tonight and that the Bengals are looking to be the favorite to keep their division title, I don't agree by any means that the Bengals are a lock, any team for that matter.

Yeah that was very sad. He should have retired before this season started. I don't know why he's hanging on. There are a couple of records in sight: most completions, most wins and I think he's 10 TD passes away from 400.

But I don't think he's so insecure that he'd come back just to try to break a couple records and set a couple milestones. That's not Brett Favre.

The team was 4-12 last year. Ahman Green was awful last night. Charles Woodson was awful last night. If they start Gado in game, maybe he and A.J. Hawk can help Farve get the Pack to 5 or 6 wins this season. But I doubt it. I know you'll all say it was only pre-season but it was game 3 pre-season -- you know when the teams are actually trying and the starters are playing three quarters. From what I saw last night the Pack are going to win 3 or less games this year. It'll be sad for Farve to finish his career 6-26. But it's his own fault.

Can someone answer for my why Mike McCarthy (sp?) was hired to be Green Bay's new head coach? It seems like management passed over about 100 more qualified candidates.

If the Steelers were to play the Bangles again I predick that Carson Palmer
would throw 2 interseption but throw 3 touchdown passes. Big Ben would probly thow 0 intecption and 2 touchdown passes, 1 and screen pass to Hine Ward or a swift little bullet to Willie Parker. & id see the game playing out at 24 - 24 Steelers, then in overtime with Jeff Reed kicking a 43 yard field goal.

Amen, brother. No locks in the preseason. Especially in a division that has 3 solid teams (Ravens will be better with McNair).

The closest things to locks are the 2 strong teams in weak divisions, Colts and Seahawks. But they still have to play hard every week and hope the injuries don't strike. Remember, the closest thing to a lock at this time last year was the Eagles winning the East.

There are close to 2,000 possible and reasonable score outcomes to that game, so I'm curious as to why you're so sure it would turn out like that. Do you have some "inside" info from somebody that's fixing the game, 'cuz if so I'd like to get in touch so I can put some money on these games.
