The Eagles acquired wide receiver Dante Stallworth from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for six-year veteran linebacker Mark Simoneau and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2007.

A lot cheaper than what it would take to get Branch.

I like Stallworth alot. I think he's better than Lelie, Branch, Porter, or any of the other guys who were said to be available. Stallworth has a chance to be a star with McNabb and company. I think this is a great trade for the Eagles. I know Drew Brees can't be too happy.

Brees still has Joe Horn and Reggie Bush as an effective pass catching back.

Stallworth gives the Eagles the deep threat they need. He's also consistent. Now if they could just pull off a trade for Deion Branch -- they could start a decent tandem of of WRs and have Reggie Brown as the third receiver, a role he's more suited to.

My fantasy team just got better with that trade, lol. I had Stallworth on one of my teams, he should do a lot better with the Eagles, then he did as a Saint.

If Branch goes to the Eagles, you may be looking at a name change.
May I recommend McNabb_Branch. ;)
