I really don't care any more.
I really am starting to feel for Packer fans now. The last few years, there was all this will he or won't he drama, and when he finally does, he takes it back and acts like he's the victim. Other athletes have contingency plans for when the retire, look at all the QBs who went into broadcasting right away. I can appreciate drive and desire to keep doing it, but this is ridiculous.

Brett didn't ask for the money to stay retired, he was offered money to retire.. (he refused to take it)
This whole thing is a mess and it all starts with the fact that Favre retiring.
Aaron Rodgers is the one who I feel for more than anyone. The fans are going to take it out on him.
When Steve Young took over for Montana in 1991 it took him a season to get everything sorted out. Now, I am not saying Rodgers is the next Steve Young, but I am saying that filling big shoes has been done before...
Montana - had 8 Pro Bowl seasons while being voted 1st team all Pro three different times.
Young - had 7 Pro Bowl seasons while being voted 1st team all Pro three different times.

When I was at the 2005 HOF induction ceremony, I actually heard someone say Steve Young didn't belong there. If a guy who won six passing titles doesn't belong, then there is no HOF. And the guy making the comment is no football fan.
The fans need to embrace Rodgers. Period.
