Well, things are definately moving in the right direction. Oakland is off to it's first 4-0 mark in the preseason since 1975!! I would not read too much into that though. I still believe at this moment we are maybe a game or 2 over 500 in the regular season this year.
The defense looked solid again. Derek Burgess had a monster sack, and we got a couple more ints. Definate improvement on the defensive side of the ball. Aaron Brooks actually looked an NFL QB. He got the ball to Moss a few times for 2 TDs. He also looked pretty sharp moving the ball around. The main weakness for the Raiders is still the O line. They just are not playing the way they need to play, and not much depth in it at all. I am sure that is one of the main reasons Coach Shell was brought in for in the first place, and I am equally sure that he will have the line clicking. May not be all there this year, but he has had a good start. I can already see a marked improvement from last years team to this years. Playing Seattle next week to close out the preseason. That should be a real indicator of where we are.
