Well, somehow the Raiders are 3-0 in preseason. I know this doesn't mean a thing, but maybe that .500 season may be attainable, and we may even reach for a game or two past that mark.

I can definately see the that some strides have been made. Though Brooks is still making some errant throws, he did do better this week. To me, he was outshined again by Walter though. I have to believe that if Brooks struggles early in the regular season, the calls for Walter to start will be deafening. The penalties were cut down this week, which is a sign that Coach Shell is starting to get the discipline down a little more. The defense also played solid. The 49ers arent an offensive juggernaut anymore, but the defense did what they were supposed to. The Raiders now have 5 INTs during the first 3 pre season games, that matches their yearly total from last regular season.

Overall, a better performance from the team. Keeping things in perspective though, they still have a ways to go.

Wow, I didn't realize they only had 5 INTs last season.
That can only get better....:)
