Are there any other Raider diehards out there who are getting exasperated with the Raider draft policy of drafting the fastest DB available in the first round, at the expense of other positions?

I can not describe the elation I felt when I realized that Matt Leinart was going to fall to us in the first round, and conversely could not begin to describe the pain I felt when we selected Michael Huff over Leinart. I have been a part of The RaiderNation since I started watching football in the 70's, and though we have made lots of mistakes in previous drafts, this one just seemed to hurt me more than any other.

Leinart, although he probably wouldn't have been a great player, should have at least generated some excitement in California.

Well, I hate to to bring this baby back out, but here is what I said when this site first started. Looks like my gut was telling me right back then. I still have that damn pain deep in my guts everytime I see Leinert play in a game, man this one really hurt.

Well after only two starts he's been more successfull than Walter.
