The starters played abysmally, managing only a field goal in the first half. However, the backups picked up the slack, scoring 17 points and not allowing any. The backups were sparked by a 44-yard TD run by third-string RB Musa Smith immediately following a turnover by the Eagles.
I'm treating this like a loss, because that's how the starters played, whereas I'm treating the first one like a win.
So the Ravens are 1-1, either way.

Saw the game too and had the starters played the whole game the Eagles would have killed them. But the next preseason game is the important one. That's when the starters are going to play three quarters.
We'll see how good this team is going to be then.
Has Steve McNair impressed you?

He's certainly an upgrade from Kyle Boller. He's really good at leading the receivers, but I did notice that they ran the same play about seven times in the first quarter. Granted, he spread the ball around, but I'm worried about him learning the playbook. He doesn't act his age. He wasn't that good the other night, but I saw some good things.
I'm not sure I agree with you. If the starters had played the whole game, it would have been close. If the refs don't blow the pass interference on Rolle, Billick doesn't call a run with time running out, it's most likely 7-6 at the half, and then anything can happen.
