Who is the only team to select back-to-back Hall of Famers in the first round of the NFL draft? What year did it happen in? Who were the players involved? What were their draft positions? What were their playing positions and what were their colleges?
Don't try to google this and cheat -- that's no fun. Besides this is probably a no brainer for a lot of you.

Colts: Emtman and Coryatt. What? Why's everybody laughing?
My first thought (fighting the urge to google) was Butkus and Sayers, but I don't think they went back to back.

But they did go back-to-back, in 1965, Dick Butkus, LB, Illinois was selected with the 3rd pick overall by the Chicago Bears. Gale Sayers, HB, Kansas was then the 4th pick overall by those same Chicago Bears.
By the way, Butkus was also drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the AFL Draft. And Gale Sayers was drafted by the Denver Broncos in second round of the AFL Draft. Think how different history could have turned out had they decided to sign with the AFL!

Since you are talking about the AFL and NFL, do you know who the player was that was selected as the 1st overall pick in the 1st joint AFL-NFL draft?
