The most notable thus far are Donte Stallworth (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Donte_Stallworth.shtml) to the Browns and Michael Turner (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Michael_Turner.shtml) to the Falcons.

Michael Turner (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Michael_Turner.shtml), considered perhaps the top running back available in free agency, agreed to a six-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons yesterday.

A four-year veteran who has been best known as LaDainian Tomlinson's (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Ladainian_Tomlinson.shtml) backup with the San Diego Chargers, Turner (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Michael_Turner.shtml) is expected to play a more important role with the Falcons. He is projected as the power complement to speed back Jerious Norwood.

"It was really the whole organization and what they're trying to do," Turner (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Michael_Turner.shtml) said when asked what influenced his decision.

The addition of Turner (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Michael_Turner.shtml) likely signals the end of Warrick Dunn's (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Warrick_Dunn.shtml) time with the team. If the Falcons release Dunn (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Warrick_Dunn.shtml), they will gain about $3 million in salary cap space.

Turner (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Michael_Turner.shtml) and a representative of his agent, James "Bus" Cook, wouldn't confirm an ESPN.com report that Turner's (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Michael_Turner.shtml) contract with Atlanta is for $34.5 million, with approximately $15 million guaranteed.

Turner (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Michael_Turner.shtml) had 228 carries for 1,257 yards and six touchdowns in four seasons with San Diego. He has averaged 5.5 yards per carry in his career.

Atlanta also agreed to terms with tight end Ben Hartsock (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Ben_Hartsock.shtml), who played for Tennessee last season.

The Cleveland Browns added another prime target for newly re-signed quarterback Derek Anderson (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Derek_Anderson.shtml) yesterday, agreeing with New England veteran Donte' Stallworth (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Donte_Stallworth.shtml) on a seven-year contract.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Stallworth (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Donte_Stallworth.shtml) has played six years and 84 games in the NFL with New Orleans, Philadelphia and the Patriots. He has 279 receptions for 4,213 yards and 31 touchdowns.

Last season, Stallworth (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Donte_Stallworth.shtml) had 46 receptions for 697 yards and three touchdowns. He had a career-high 70 receptions and 945 yards with New Orleans in 2005.

Other moves include Asante Samuel (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Asante_Samuel.shtml) and Chris Clemons (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Chris_Clemons.shtml) going to the Eagles, the Vikings signing Bernard Berrian (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Bernard_Berrian.shtml), the Jaguars trading Marcus Stroud (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Marcus_Stroud.shtml) to the Bills for draft picks, and the Lions trading Shaun Rogers (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Shaun_Rogers.shtml) to the Bills for cornerback Leigh Bodden (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Leigh_Bodden.shtml) and a third-round pick. Houston signed former Dallas CB Jacques Reeves (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Jacques_Reeves.shtml), and Drayton Florence (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Drayton_Florence.shtml) became a Jaguar. New England corner Randall Gay (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Randall_Gay.shtml) signed with the Saints. Former Falcons' TE Alge Crumpler (http://www.football-almanac.com/players/Alge_Crumpler.shtml) was signed by the Titans as well.
