Should It be retired (assuming this is his last year)? A Pro bowl, Patriots career receptions, 15 years in a Patriots uniform, A great reputation, A team player, 3 (maybe soon to be 4) rings. To me, It's a no-brainer.

No brainer that it won't be issued normally again(no retirement per league rules), the team is just waiting for his final game to honor him.

The Patriots have a ring of honor, right? Or something to that effect.

Is Brown the longest tenured Patriot in history? I'm thinking Julius Adams might be up there with him, but I have no idea if anyone was in a Patriots uniform longer. That alone may not be enough, but he has a great resume. Honoring him is a no-brainer.

Troy Brown is the Patriots all-time leading reciever. I just wish he got some more catches in 2007 to bump up his totals somewhat.

Stanley Morgan holds that distinction(more yardage, TDs etc. than Brown), Brown only has the most receptions. Brown's only true title is the Patriots' all time punt returner

Yes that's what I was referring to, receptions. I think it's cool he's also played DB from time to time.
