Mike Holovak had passed on. He was the second coach of the then Boston Patriots and served the position for eight seasons and went to the 1963 AFL Championship game. He holds a number of first including first playoff appearance, first winning season, first playoff win and first championship appearance.
Most notable about his tenure is that he went on to set the team records for wins, games coached, and seasons coached. He was only surpassed recently by Bill Belichick in 2005(wins), 2006(games coached) and 2008(seasons coached).
