Qwest Field is so loud that some opposing players sometimes claim the crowd noise must be artificially enhanced. Even though the NFL has proven such claims to be a falsehood. The Qwest Field crowd noise is 100% real. The latest player to gripe about it was Sellers from the Redskins prior to last weekend's game. Guess what? That just got the fans even more revved up! I guess Sellers really put his foot in his mouth.

It's really a shame what the NBA is doing to a city with a tremendous amount of great sports fans. I also think it's cool how Qwest has all the reputation of being a great sports mecca while barely getting any hype for it.

Its a really loud stadium, but all I can think of was the drama that happened when texas a&m sued them over the term 12th lol. I would love visit it!

I'm REALLY hoping that the new Viking's stadium looks a lot like Qwest (except we'll likely have a retractable roof :dismay: ) I like how even the upper deck isn't half a mile away, and no three story tall stacks of suites - (see new Colts, Cowboys, etc)

There "ain't a bad seat in the house" as the old saying goes. And I can say that as someone who one game literally sat in the very last row.
Thank goodness it's not a huge cavernous monstrosity like the Colts new stadium or the Cowboys new stadium is going to be.

I have trouble thinking there's a better NFL venue than Qwest, but I certainly think the new Cowboys stadium could take that title.
