Did anyone else catch in Les Miles's press conference (the one where he said now was not the time to talk about the Michigan job) how he called Arkansas as if it were Our Kansas?

Did not see it but I think Miles is going to Michigan.

I was talking about this with a friend the other night. I think LSU is going to do whatever it takes to keep him.
I'm actually kind of hoping they give Brian Kelly a shot. Kelly did some good things for my alma mater last year, and I'm still surprised he took the UC job while Michigan State was there for him.

Well, from what I read in the Enquirer, UC is going to try to keep Kelly and Kelly wants to stay in the Big East.

Well LSU pissed away its national championship hopes today losing to Arkansas. They have really dodged a lot of bullets this season, some self-inflicted, like today taking TDs off the board with stupid penalties. I guess it wasn't meant to be.
When Miles was hired almost 3 years ago here, the Michigan connection has always been dangling out there. Fans don't like it when their coach won't come out and say "To hell with all the rumors I'm staying!". Tiger fans have heard that before not too long ago from Saban. Can't blame Miles for going back if he does. He played and coached there, and his wife is from there. I think he's going to leave not matter how much more money would be thrown at him. Sometimes its not about the money, its where your heart is and in less than 2 months we'll find out.

Who all saw that play at the end of the half by Notre Dame against Stanford? It looks so familar but there isn't a band.

It is college. Coaches say things, then leave tomorrow. He made similar statements about Central Michigan.
It is the Enquirer. There's a reason the Dayton Daily News is the preferred paper when it comes to larger publications and various HOFs need insight from Southwestern Ohio.

I dare you to find one article about the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Dayton paper, basketball or football. Probably the last one you would see is from when Ohio St. played Cincinnati last year. There are only little blerbs in the "Top 25 Overview" section.

That's not really relevant to my comments, so I'll pass on the search.
