View Full Version : Undefeated* Umass scores 3 safeties, still upseted by URI

Maybe I only find this odd because I'm a Umass fan, but not only did Umass (who went to the 1-AA championship last year and only lost to BC all year, hence the asterisk) only score 6 points all game , but all 6 points we're on safeties. Then URI, (whose 1-5 in division play and is pretty bad from what I've seen) managed to pull the upset in OT. Also, URI also had 6 fumbles. So, to recap, URI had 6 fumbles and gave up 3 safeties and still beat the #2 team in thier league. :confused

Must've been REALLY windy and wet, UMass's QB only threw for 22 yards.

Exactly what it was, windy as hell and soaking wet. UMass got crap luck in the end...
