Jets lose to Bucs in 1st Preseason game

Jets lose to the Buccaneers 3-16 in the 1st Preseason game of 2006.

Kellen Clemens went 10/14 with 92 yards. Pennington went 9/14 with 54 yards. Mike Nugent scored only points with FG. Cedric Houston rushed for 17 yards.

Sounds like the stars are in good shape. Having the nuge will be important in december games.

The preseason doesn't mean much and I'd assume many of the starters weren't playing. But the ones who did performed well so I'd say it's nothing to worry about.
