The Patriots have been unstoppable, whereas the Colts have simply been unstopped.

New England. It's not the same offense that it was last January, it's now pick your poison because either way you are going to get a taste of something nasty!!!!

With both teams unbeaten and both are past Super Bowl Champs, this has to be the biggest regular season game ever. This is the 1st time in the 88-year history of the NFL that two undefeated teams with 7 or more wins have faced each other. Strap'em up!

-Total Offense: 439.5 yds/game (1st)

Colts

. . . and it builds strong bodies, 53 ways.

PatriotReign, thanks for posting the stats. Looks like a great one coming up, still with the Colts at a disadvantage.

But looking at Indy's passing and rushing yds, it seems they could be doing better. Maybe they're saving up for this Sunday?

I've got New England winning this one by 3-7 points.

Two things about New England's stats that are skewed are that Richard Seymore was out injured until this past week and New England has had their #1 and #2 running backs injured the last three weeks so their run stats are much lower than they should be.

I'll give the edge to the Colts since it's in Indianapolis. I have a feeling this is the week the Patriots juggernaut looks a little more grounded.

What happens when an unstoppable force hits....another unstoppable force?

I pick the Pats.

We all know that both teams are great, but I think the Pats will win this game. They have a better defense than the Colts and that's what this game will come down to.

Peyton's favorite target might not play, Marvin Harrison has an injury and my not be able to play.

So that means that Asante Samuel will go against Reggie Wayne. I don't think this will be a good day for Peyton Manning and the Colts.

It means more passing plays to Dallas Clark slowing their receiving corps down a bit...but he is still dangerous to any defense so they will have to be on guard still.

The Patriots won the battle 24-20, if all goes well the road to the Super Bowl has to go through Foxborough.

That can't be good for the Colts, or, for that matter, anybody else in the AFC.

It's good for the AFC since the second seed is still up for grabs and it could come out of the AFC North in the form of whoever wins that division. On top of that the Colts have an actual fight for the division now since Tennessee is just a game back in the loss column and the Colts have a tough schedule ahead with the Chiefs, Titans, Jaguars, Ravens all having records of .500 or better....

Not really in terms of seeding, but I don't think many people would like to play a game in Foxboro in January. The only place that anybody would like to go less would probably be Lambeau (which may also be the site of the NFC championship game).

Actually it has an impact in seeding since the other teams now have a shot at giving Indy their second loss and jumping ahead of Indy in the standings. They gave the 6-2 teams(Pittsburgh and Tennessee) an actual shot at that seed, especially if the Titans can beat Indy the last week of the season. Things aren't certain any more, except New England winning the AFC East...

Sunday's game between the Pats-Colts had a TV rating of 20.1 and a 36 share. It had the highest TV ratings for a regular-season game since the Cowboys and 49ers had a 20.2 rating and a 36 share back on 11/10/96.
