Peyton will always be good, so will Brady. Delhomme has got some serious wepons this year. But I have to choose my boy, Hasselbeck. I don't care who we lost, I still know who we are keeping in our O-line. Also, don't forget how he did last year, and that was with injurys to Jackson and Engram, this year, they are both back, and with Burleson out there this year, we have a great and underrated receiving core. Oh, and playing teams like the Cardinals,
49ers, and Rams twice a year dosn't hurt.

I think Peyton Manning will top all quarterbacks in 2006.

Daunte Culpepper, Carson Palmer and Drew Brees are coming off serious injuries. Donovan McNabb is coming off a serious injury too and playing with some very suspect "talent." And speaking of "suspect" it seems that about half of Carson Palmer's teammates qualify for that label. How many Bengals have been arrested this week?

Eli Manning is fueding with his best WR, Plaxico Burress. And the team's other top receiver TE Jeremy Shockey seems to think it's a good idea to pick fights with Tom Coughlin over practice. Bad idea.

After subtracting Edgerrin James from the Colts offense and adding back only Joseph Addai to try to fill the gap with Dominic Rhodes -- the Colts are going pass happy in '06 and Manning should put up some gaudy stats. They'll probably also lose in the first round of the playoffs.

I went with Manning. Eli that is. He'll only get better from here on out.

Eli looks like he's going to be "scary" good. His demeanor seems closer to Phil Simms than Joe Namath. But who knows. Maybe he goes all "Broadway Joe" on us. That'd be great. Football in NY has been so boring since LT retired.

For some reason, I don't see Eli as being as good as Peyton is, ever. I think Peyton is a sure-fire Hall-of-Famer, but little bro has some big steps to take before he's even talked about like that. Peyton needs a Super Bowl ring to cement his status as one of the best ever, and he may have missed his chance already. I'm not really sure how good the Colts can be this year, but most likely only as good as Peyton is. He needs another MVP season for them to be successful. Don't get me wrong, I think Eli is going to be a good one, I just think he's a tad overrated.

Peyton might end up like Marino and Moon -- passing records out the wazoo and no Superbowl ring. (At least Moon has something like seven Grey Cup Championships.) Peyton said in the off-season that he intends to play another eight season, in addition to the eight he's already played. That gives him a big window of opportunity to win the Superbowl but I think it is closed for the next couple years -- that is unless Joseph Addai or Dominic Rhodes picks right up where Edgerrin James left off and I don't see that happening.

Meanwhile Eli is surrounded by talent and a driven head coach, seeking validation after all his failures in Jacksonville. I think Eli wins a Superbowl before Peyton does. The Giants' defense is definitely better than the Colts' defense. Osi, Strahan & Arrington are going to dominate this season. Tiki Barbar still has a couple of prime years left. Everything is pointing towards Eli at this point.

And at some point the psychological barrier of never getting to the big-game is going to become a real issue for the key players in Indianapolis, if it hasn't already.

Peyton Manning is the best QB in the NFL bar none, I dont see anyone even coming close to competing with him(even though I hate him and his brother with a passion).

Peyton will have the numbers, and Eli is unproven. Brady has lost too many weapons to be the best this year. (And brother, I really hope I'm wrong on that prediction). Palmer needs to overcome his hit last week.

The others all need to perform at a level they have not consistently achieved to be seriously considered.

Anybody think Rex Grossman is going to keep up his pace? If he does and the Bears win 12 or 13 games, can you say MVP?

Personally I think it will be a miracle if he plays in 12 or 13 games...but stranger things have happened, i.e. Kurt Warner.

^ If he gets to play against the Lions and Packers every game, then yes :D

I voted for Matt Hasselbeck because I think he's going to come back from his injury and blow the competition away last five games of the season.

Nobody voted for Damon Huard? What?
