Should the super-speedy Joey Galloway, now in his 13th season, end up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio?
As of Septmber 23, 2007, his career numbers are:
625 catches, 9,807 yards, 15.7 ypc 73 tds
63 carries, 496 yards 7.9 ypc, 1 td
If yes, what team should he represent? He played five years for the Seahawks, four for the Cowboys, and is now in his fourth year with the Buccaneers.

You don't go into the Hall of Fame representing a single team, you represent all your teams. Who he was with more and did more with doesn't matter, what he did over his career matters...
And as it stands now, he doesn't get in. His numbers are kinda low for a Hall of Famer so he will have to wait a while before he gets in...

I can't remember who the sideline reporter was, but she asked Reggie White's widow what team he would represent and actually hinted to what the answer would be and Mrs. White said the reporter was wrong about the team and no "decision" was going to be made at all.
For thsoe who haven't been there, the HOF gallery is simply made up of busts of the enshrinee's heads, no helmetes, no hats, no jerseys. There are inked pictures by the HOF'ers name, but, chances are, they will depict the player with more than one team, like Jackie Smith of the Cardinals and Cowboys.
I agree with efin. She has good numbers, but she falls short in comparison to other wideouts not in, not eligible or currently playing.

Ok, think of it this way: which team would "claim" Galloway as "their" Hall of Famer? The Seahawks have had a number of Hall of Famers play for them briefly over the years, but Steve Largent is considered the only Seattle Seahawk Hall of Famer, for example.
Since Galloway has put in a relatively equal amount of time with three different teams, which camp would he come down in? He started off with the Seahawks, and that's where he became famous, but he had a career year with the Bucs in 2005.

Before I reply, I do have to apologize. I got him mixed up with Terry Glenn, which is why I called him she. Sorry, Joey and Galloway fans.
It's hard when your career is so evenly spread out. I think Galloway is going to have to post some real big numbers to get there, he's not quite there yet, so he'd do it in a Bucs uniform if he does. Unless he leaves for another team.

Well, they were both at Ohio State around the same time, so I suppose that's understandable.

Channeling Bill Parcells there for a minute?
I think he might get the benefit of the doubt regarding the numbers considering he played on some bad teams during his first few years...so it might be like Lynn Swann and take a decade but he will get in. He needs more work though...

That's not how it works. The only distinction the Hall of Fame makes between a player's teams is the primary team gets that player's name bolded in their list. Several players have their names bolded under different teams, heck New England has two of them bolded with them and another team: Mike Haynes(also with Oakland) and Nick Buoniconti(also with Miami).
Steve Largen is bolded under Seattle but they also have Warren Moon, Franco Harris, and Carl Eller listed as their Hall of Famers.
If he retires this year Seattle will have his named in bold on their list, if he plays another year with Tampa his name will be bolded with them as well.

Right now no. I'd consider Eric Moulds before Joey Galloway.

Moulds has better numbers overall than Galloway without an injury problem and playing for teams that were as bad if not worse than Galloway's teams so he would have the edge right now.

Here's his numbers after ten games this season. Looks like he's headed for his third consecutive -- and sixth overall -- 1,000-yard season. At age 36!
652 catches, 10,269 yards, 15.8 avg., 77 tds, 63 rushes, 496 yards, 7.9 avg., 1 td
He also has some decent career punt return stats:
140 returns, 1,347 yards, 9.6 yards, 5 tds
Just think if he had played full seasons in 1999 and 2000. Really it would have been cool if he played his whole career in Seattle.
