Since the offseason's over, and the NFL's first preseason game was yesterday, I figured that now would be the time to start this thread up.
Talk about anything related to the Patriots preseason/training camp in here, be it cuts, how well Matt Cassel does, or a no-name player to watch.

Patriots released 11 year veteran Josh Miller on Thursday. Two punters remain in camp; Danny Baugher and Tom Malone. Neither has ever appeared in a regular season NFL game. Baugher punted three times Friday night, averaging 49.3 yards per kick, with a long of 70 yards and two within the 20.
Veteran Artrell Hawkins was released along with rookie LB Kyle Bissinger and second year CB Gemara Williams. Hawkins said he wouldn't rule out a return.
Ty Warren signed a five year extension and is locked up through 2011.

How is Randy Moss doing? Is he meshing well with the rest of his New England team mates?

He hasn't played in a pre-season game yet due to a hamstring injury. Right now, he's un-meshed.

Looks like the job belongs to Baugher. Malone was cut yesterday.
