Matt Schaub, the highly-touted back-up to Michael Vick for the past few years, was traded to Texas to take over their starting QB job. That left a hole in the QB rotation chart for the Falcons, so in steps...Joey Harrington? Ouch. As a Lions fan, I'll give a fair warning that Michael Vick better stay healthy the entire time Harrington is under contract. Good luck, Falcons fans. Good thing Jumpin' Joey isn't your starter, or else things would look much worse.

At this point Matt Schaub has shown he is a NFL quarterback than Joey Harrington, but last year showed me that Harrington was still a good quarterback. He wasn't selected 3rd overall for nothing. I know Lions fans dislike him because he didn't pan out, but I think he'll be a solid option if Vick goes down.

Why has everybody been raving about Schaub for the last several years? You would think he's the second coming of Johnny Unitas.

:D
Everybody has been raving about Matt Schaub, because of what he has done in the few games he has played. He led a comeback victory against the Colts in the 2005 preseason after completing 11 of 13 passes for 117 yards and 2 TDs. I can see why you're questioning the hype, because he has only started in one game. It came against the New England Patriots in 2005, Schaub threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-28 loss.
