The Pats signed WR Donte Stallworth to a deal that can be as short as 1 year or as long as 6 years.

They got their marquee WR finally, no more bitching about the loss of Branch, Graham, and others who were OK but not really great receivers.

Good deal. Cross another one off the list of needs. The variable length also provides insurance against Stallworth's injury problems.

They didn't waste any time in getting him another decent collegue, they signed WR Kelley Washington of the Bengals.
